The Rockwood development project celebrated an official groundbreaking on June 12th, 2019 in a celebration that congregated community members, city officials, and development partners alike.
The ceremony was widely attended despite record-breaking temperatures, and saw the participation of esteemed guests including Mayor Shane Bemis, Washington County Commissioner Lori Stegmann, and Senator Laurie Monnes-Anderson.
With construction commencing on the first of three ground-up developments, estimated completion is late 2021-early 2022.
Project staff and partners are united in excitement and anticipation of this unique development in the heart of Gresham’s youngest, most diverse neighborhood.
